Artillery Shell

Hello, I did not find this detecting but I did find it at a local antique shop. Talked to the dealer and he sold it to me for what I thought was a fair price. I believe its a Hotchkiss shell but was wanting to confirm with other Tnet members. It was discovered in Fredericksburg as I was told. I was wondering what the going price is for one of these shells. Not looking to sell it but just another addition to my collection. It weighs about 9 to 10 pounds. Thanks and Happy Holidays

Here is another good link for artillery shells. They list the Hotchkiss common at around $200-$300.00. I thought it might have been a Read shell for a moment : )
