artifacts ive found gold detecting

i normally post in the prospecting section.Ive picked up detecting as another tool, i do like research and history and i like the things i find with my detector even the things i just happen to find cause im detecting but, not with my detector... like the crystal and the china shard...i just found that huge axehead in a tailings pile yesterday...im starting to think my goldmaster circuit got switched with an axemaster circuit up there in Sweet H ome....lol....

Is that axehead with the crystals a wrap-around? I found one last week at
a gold mining ghost town. The metal looks like it was heated and bent to
make the handle hole.

i am in placerville, lurediver, and all the axeheads are solid forged.

They often used ax heads to break rock crevices open,with a sledge.It is VERY common to find ax heads like that in the gold fields.
