I found this thing 40 years ago when I was a kid. Under maybe 6 inches of soil about a foot from the foundation of a log cabin built in the mid 1700s. Looks like a fossil that may have seen some sort of utilization. Historical accounts show that there was an attack by Indians on the cabin in the 1760's several settlers were killed. This is the only reason along with the scratches on the object that make me think it might have been used by Indians. it is definitely stone-like and not bone like or anything like that. Anyway to me it just seems logical that if an Indian was already using stone tools in his everyday life and ran across this Fossil I'm sure he would find it useful. Maybe for digging maybe as a weapon who knows? Possibility number 2: the 1750 farmer found it in his field gave it to his kid or whatever and they lost it by the house. As you can see I've had a lot of time to think about it. I'm interested in hearing anyone's opinion.

It's on there for sure. Good eye 2screwed. Yes it is. But it looks like another sign. The meaning, a change in direction. It's all depending on how it's laying.
