Found this yesterday near a large old copper coin. I think I bent it while digging. Any ideas?

My first thought was horse harness related or saddle 'drop' decoration. :icon_scratch:

Definitely not part of a spoon, you can’t tell in the picture because it is bent but it goes to the tip just like an arrowhead

There is nothing on it, no markings no hole.

It also is hard to tell from the picture but it is larger than a spoon end – the coin next with more than likely was an old British copper, So bigger than a quarter, like a large cent.

No clue, what did the coin turn out to be??

Maybe a thumb lift from a tankard, flagon, or coffee pot?

Nothing says that a spoon handle can't be reworked for another purpose. It looks like a spoon handle to me as well.

The arrowhead looks like a broken tip of a wood hole drill bit

Being an archer who is interested in primitive ways, I’d say it wouldn’t be possible to haft that head to a shaft.
Don’t think it’s an arrow head.
