We do not allow posting of websites selling anything supporting vendors sell.unless they are supporting vendors, also cznt post links to sites having any kind of competing forums.

Although I understand why it's the way it is but I'll always continue to be aggravated when mods delete links that are relevant and informative to the discussion at hand. Some of these things people bring to the table in this forum aren't always easy to identify or find information on so when a mod makes it that much more difficult to discuss an item on this site it really makes me want to search out a different site to find information if I'm not going to be able to ask somebody here where to look. I guess what I'm trying to say is by deleting a link that may be relevant to something I've posted it is going to do nothing but make me spend more time looking for the site that the deleted link would have taken me to thus keeping me away from this one all the while getting familiar with a competing site. I can't speak for everyone but by deleting links it inherently makes me spend more time on competing sites and I would rather be on this site exposed to vendors here rather than vendors there. Sorry for the rant it just irritates me and just flat out seems anti-productive for the entire reason why we are here to begin with

Audozer, I was a bit taken aback by the delete and also felt like I got my hand slapped for I wasn’t sure what...I thought the posted site was interesting and relevant too even if it wasn’t exactly a match to your find. I still do find Tnet rather helpful overall. You stated concerns well.

Tinklers go back to copper culture, probably Archaic but most found are from early European copper. Sometime they are found in groups because they were on a string attached to clothes to tinkle while dancing.
Would native tinklers be metal and if so how old could the be?

These could be tinklers for sure because there were multiple Indian camps in my neck of the woods ......more research needed for sure but if they are copper culture I’m gonna faint!
