Sounds like I need to move up there, follow the armored trucks, lay in wait until another ones back door opens up and money spills out! You would think that with so many doors opening and spilling $thousands of cash out they would fix the problem!

I could have pulled directly out in front of an Armored truck today :laughing7:
I'm not sure why I thought of It but I did LOL

I have a Pretty hairy Crossroad above me.
Traffic on 209 flies by here sometimes 65 MPH & more.
anyway as I was getting ready to hit the gas to pull out
an Armored Truck come flying around the blind spot
stopping me from hitting the gas at the last second.
But As I said, I thought

Maybe I should have for an interesting story :laughing7:

but then again, they don't crumble :tongue3:

Jeff = heaDlines...

From my local news: An armored truck lost a bag filled with $170,000 in cash when the back door of the truck opened without the driver knowing. By the time the loss was discovered officials were only able to locate $40 of the $170,000. Someone with a metal detector in his hand made alot of money.

I remember commenting on this subject a few years back.

Those doors don't just open, Its not really possible, They either are closed and locked or they are not.
In the South the drivers are paid $14.00 an hour to drive a half million dollars around for ten hours. That door simply swung open at 2:30 AM on the LIE?
That's about the only time that there isn't anyone on the Expressway.
Of course the driver didn't notice until later.

The alarm system is quite sophisticated. There are audible and visible alarms every time the locks are breached.
This happens so often now, that I'm thinking its likely always an inside job.
