are you superstitious?

I am superstitious by habit, in other words, I was raised not to open umbrellas in the house or walk under ladders, etc. On another note, I did once run into what I think were intentionally buried pennies by someone into Santeria. Every penny was buried with a red little plastic circle the same diameter as the penny. This was not one penny but more like each and everyone that I found, about 20. They were all very shallow.

I'm not superstitious per say,I find it hard to believe in anything that i cant see with my own eyes,but i do have this weird little number thing that seems to follow me everywhere i go.

For example years ago myself and an Ex of mine purchased a home together and the house number was 444,and ever since we had a falling out and I moved out and on with my life.Anyway for some reason everyday not caring or wanting to know what time it is,I always feel this urge to look at a clock or watch and it always happens to be 4:44 when i do.
The other day i turned on the Mets game(GO METS) when i got home and it was 4 to 4 in the 4th inning,And to add insult to injury I got a few odds n ends at the store today and the total came to $4.44 this is no lie,I do think sometimes that because she was Italian she may have cursed me with the stink eye or something crazy like that on me,it really drives me insane from time to time,will i ever know the significance of the 444 curse I'm not entirely sure.What i do know is that I always get this feeling of bad luck when i see it,maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me and if I could spin in circles 444 times without cracking my skull wide open to free me from this curse I would do it<<now that's being superstitious ha ha

I don't concern myself with superstitions very much these days. If a black cat crosses my path when driving and I don't run it over that's Good Luck for the cat. I also open umbrellas indoors. I won't walk under ladders but that's because that takes too much effort to bend down to make the walk. If I find coins the the ground, I don't care how they got there as long as they can buy something.

Superstitions are only in the mind of the beholder! Unless you've 'experienced otherwise'.

Don't walk under a ladder...it's a safety issue. Opening an umbrella in the house...it's harder to get out the door! Black cats crossing in front of you...hit the brake (providing no one is behind you!) Spilling salt and throwing more over your shoulder...one more mess to clean up!
