......Do you call people who find quartz arrowheads "Meatheads" or do you belong to a group whose set out to annihilate and or exterminate a group of artifacts because they are different. While I haven't went that far, I am uninterested in putting anything in my collection outside of my general area. I really have no interest in anything not related to adenas or hopewells. So basically if your not in my area and finding adena or hopewell stuff then your wasting your time trying to get me to look at your relics all the time. JUST KIDDING don't go sohio hatin. Just wondering how many stick to only collecting certain cultures or areas. I feel like having concentrated on adenas and hopewell it has made my collection more valuable as it gives a "certain" view of a period of time. I feel like if I took a vacation to texas wait a minute that would never happen i hate texas... lets say I found a point while on vacation in washington state ..well i would feel like I was cheating on my collection. Like when I got home my celts would be saying so..have a good time? Did you meet any new rocks? Do you like them more than us? Steve you can't participate on this topic as we know you'll take it as long as you can get it. yeah thats what she said.

What are you smoken? Only adena and hpoewell? Are those the only artifacts in your area? Bet if you found a paleo we would see it posted that day. Before you throw away any paleo I will give you my addy and you can send them my way. I live in an area occupied for over 12,000 years, I would be a fool to only collect from one or two cultures.

Yeah I usually toss all the paleo stuff I'll start saving it for ya. Of course I keep anything ft ancient archaic and paleo its just i have hunted one primary location which is hilltop sites along a good size creek that runs through 5 -6 counties and they are primarily adena with the occasional hopewell sites. I just don't find anything else and i like the idea of keeping that way. GTP I went cuckoo back in the 80s.

I understand your appreciation for local pieces. Although I enjoy viewing artifacts from all over the country, the local pieces I enjoy the most. The best part of my rag-tag collection is that they where all found on my property, or within view of it. I'll be looking forward to the paleo pieces sent my way.

Well, I guess since I have artifacts from all 49 continental United States then I am not an artifact bigot. I collect any and all cultures from any state, but I still enjoy finding them myself more than anything else. Though it is pretty sweet to open your mailbox and find something from another part of the country waiting for you there.
