Are there any relic hunters around here?

Admittedly that's an artifact I don't know very well... Silly me probably would have thought the ones you posted were for screwing to a wall to hold the pipe in place

This is a 1918 wheat penny.. That by itself is not a big deal but it's the only one I've found holed

That's some really cool stuff GatorBoy! I found a "holed" wheat cent this year as well, 1938. Odd I thought, maybe a birth year, anniversary? Who knows!

Nice finds, my shop at work had a number of those insulators on nails in the wall with no wires. I've wondered how old they are. I've only got three relics so far, but I'm hoping for more soon. The railroad spike and other peice of iron (no clue what it is) came from a 19th century sandstone quarry. And the 1930's-ish shotgun shell was nearby.
