I stopped at a sale yesterday, was looking at a box of junk, the old lady yells,"we looked that up, want $40 for the box". It was marked 20. (tube tester and a bunch of blown tubes) I wasn't interested, just looking at it. Bought a box of 8 drawer slides for $2.50, for my desk that needs them, got home, found the receipt in the bottom, $78. They are really nice hardwood slides, from Rockler.
The next we stopped at, we're looking and I spot a drywall lift. Still in the box. $100. I'll sell it for that when we're done putting the new ceilings on. Now I don't have to rent one.
Last year I bought a bag of "junk" jewelry for $.25. Had a 10k pendant on a junk chain. Sold it for $40 on feebay.
