I've heard these guys are the best of the best right now. Would like to send some gold their way. How are you sending your gold to them? Fed Ex, U.S.P.S.?? Judging from the website, it seems payment is sent out on gold items within a few days, true???

Anything in particular I should know before sending a shipment to them?

Finally, what is everyone doing with their stones they get back from their pieces? Any place to sell these?? Have some smallish sizes I want to see if I can unload. Am I stuck with getting the shaft from a local jeweler or is there another option???

Thanks :icon_sunny:

Send it to ARA usps with delivery confirmation, insured for estimated value. These folks are the best!

You are wasting your money if you just send insured USPS. There is no way to prove what is in the package. Must send Registered Mail and that comes with special insurance.

I just sold some gold with small diamonds and sapphires. They are always great to deal with. This time they have someone that comes in weekly and makes an offer for the diamonds. It wasn't much, but the diamonds were very small, maybe 12 of them for $50. I wouldn't have anything else to do with them, so I took it. You can ask them to call you with an offer before you sell your diamonds. Hope that helps.

Thank you baylor  Yeah, the diamonds I have are small too, so, I'd rather do all my business in one place as opposed to going to a million local crooks, er, I mean jewelers & getting ripped off :tongue3: From all I've heard ARA is on the up & up, so, methinks the quote on the diamonds should be pretty fair. Thanks again :)
