Hi all. In the Anza Borrego of SoCal, was there a day after a good rain and got some grams out of dry washes. If you’ve been out here, its a weird place with a mix if everything geology-wise. Exploring the hills of Fish Creek Mountains, came upon the enormous boulder with big quartz streaks. Smaller versions were similar but tons more pyrite were around. I was looking for gold sources, but I’ve never seen so much Pyrite in my life. Any thoughts on Pyrite everywhere and quartz streaks as sources of what we found in the washes? Thanks in advance for any opinions
