I wondered if #1 and #3 were Whities; but I thot the base had to be opaque? Altho I don't know what else they could be.....

There were two types made, one with an opaque base, and one with veneered color over clear. The ones with the clear base are sometimes called clear or transparent whities and they are more related to tiger eyes than whities I guess. I think the opaque ones were the only ones sold in packaging with the whitie name.

Wow. I've never seen that info; nor has anyone else ever mentioned that so THANK YOU! I think that clarifies a lot of mibs that have been posted, not only mine....
