Anyone swinging an MXT?

So I bought my MXT about 3-4 years ago while in Florida. It has found me lots of coins. Some nice rings and 2 civil war era or slightly after buttons (in New Mexico with the Grandfather-in-law).

My question is do any of you use it prospecting and if so should I invest in a new coil for it. I currently only have the standard coil that came with it.
