Anyone seen anything similar

No jtw1313. I haven't. The first Chinese Pheasants released into the US were by Judge Denney, who was ambassador to China a few years ago. The likely spot for the first release was on land owned by my mother, on Peterson's Butte. Denney School is about 1.5 miles away.

Looks like a Golden Pheasant. (wish I could post pictures) I used to raise them.

There are many similar to yours dating from the art deco period on up. I have a m/f pair that sits on my end table that I have never found a match for. It's not signed is it?

Man I think I am having stuffed pheasant this evening, filled with rice and shrimp.

I tagged out at 375 this year in Germany and ten 122 in Austria.

In regards to your bird, no idea what it is. But I would say go to the junk yard and buy some asian import hood, mount that thing as a hood ornament and put it on ebay.
