Anyone see this and is ticked off like me?

Watching weather channel 8:10 am. This morning. I have Comcast it was on channel 47,in SE Mass. A Farmers Ins. Commercial comes on shows a guy on the beach with what looks like a Whites Spectrum detector, walks up to a man sitting on the beach, detector goes beep, the detector guy rips a large gold chain off the guys neck! Commercial says to protect yourself!
It then shows two other scenarios, a bear riding a motor cycle, and a dog pulling a guy thru the fence into a pool.
Seriously, I feel like I've just been portrayed as a thief when I metal detect on the beach!
I'm miffed!!!!!

Nah it's funny. What does annoy me are the Sonic commercials with the 2 guys sitting in a car. Who thinks up this junk....

As long as it doesn't come back to bite one of us while out detecting. The powers that be don't need any more ammo to fire at us. Guess I'm more miffed it's my detector brand they're bashing. Lol! Who in their right mind would need a detector to find that bling!

I must have thicker skin but these things do not bother me! Everyone is not going to drill down and analyze the commercials and shows. Let it go, change the channel, and get on with your life. I retired two weeks ago and these things I let go over my head as life is too very short!

I wouldn't get my knickers in a knot, it's just another stupid commercial from a company known for stupid commercials. I wouldn't buy insurance from a company with such blatantly stupid commercials as theirs though. They really do need another company to create their ads.

I find most commercials to be insulting to anyone of average intelligence. I agree with NHBandit, those Sonic guys are really annoying. close behind them are those two lame guys playing the guitar and telling really bad jokes. I think their selling insurance or something. This could actually be a real good thread to start. There's hundreds of them and they seem to get worse by the day.
