My worst day for those was about 70- that only leaves the gold rings left to find!

Considering how many of these things you guys and girls dig, one day they are going to be considered rare :icon_thumright:. I would keep a few just in case, fortunately I don't get too many round here.

You could make a large neckless of those!!!!! :laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9: Cant wait to see what else you found looks like the area hasn't been hunted hard or correctly from the pic!!!! HH chug

I guess the people that drop them were too darn drunk to make it to the trash can :o

Depressing collection of things i really hate to find.!! :laughing7:

When I was in college (back when Moses was in the 3rd grade) we use to connect them together and drape them around the room. What were we thinking? LOL Breezie

breezie.
if you had enough of THOSE to drape around a ROOM, you probably weren't capable of thinking MUCH at that point...

More like drooling and laying there...

:laughing7:

Now, now Spooky, did I say they were beer tabs? I think all of mine were Diet Dr. Pepper . . . LOL Actually, I do remember when Boone's Farm, the fine wine of Woodstock era, was a step up from beer!

lol.... YEAH... Dr. Pepper.... ::)
:laughing7:

And Boone's was the same thing for ME as well, and I think it still is today...

Do you remember Bali Hai wine? I think it was 89 cents a bottle. The flavor was pink! :laughing7:

The Way of Zen would be to appreciate and savor every pull-tab dug. Raised to the skies in triumph Every small piece of foil. Every 40 ounce beer screw top that screams
silver half!

Sadly, I've never reached this state of being, usually screaming in pain from bending down repeatedly, and cursing the little s%*!!, while tossing in the trash pouch.

Unless, of course there's someone hovering while detecting way to close to me for my liking.
Then they may get reburied.
Filling in the hole, of course.

My Way of Zen.

Always enjoy digging pull tabs, it teaches me patience! LLK and I made ours into a chain, it was 31' 9 1/2" long. The great thing was it only took two years to make! She turned it in at school for St. Judes Hospital, I Think the scrap man gave the school 1 or 1 1/2 cents per tab. We got rid of our tabs, the school was happy, St. Judes got a few $$, the world is now a better place!

I try not to dig those. But then again, even in the old places I hunt, one does happen to show it's ugly head. Hogge

I remember boones farm wine and akadama plum wine too, it came in a huge bottle about a gallon I think. I once went detecting on a beach near a bar, never again.

If your digging those, your destined for a nice ring(gold) soon.
