Funky-looking item.

I would imagine it's part of a vintage (circa 1950s) tourist bracelet (or possible necklace). This kind of thing:

...but panel-linked, somewhat like this:

That's a good possibility. I did a google search but nothing like it appears in pictures. Thanks for the info!

It looks like a panel from an old Greek Revival watch fob, similar in nature to this one:

Greek ?

What you have pictured is not Greek.... Also there is not really a "Greek Revival" jewelry.

Neat find! Great Sphinx of Giza in the center.

This linked-panel bracelet (and yes, ‘Egyptian’ would be correct) is in aluminium, said to be from the 1990s, and carries a maker mark of ‘SKS’.

As well as the use of the term ‘Egyptian revival’ in the west (of which there have been several waves, dating all the way back to the early 1800s), these kinds of trinkets are on sale in virtually every tourist shop in Egypt, and have been widely so in the post-war period from about 1950. They exist in such variety that you may never find an exact match, whether as bracelet, necklace, fob, or whatever.

Yes... Great Sphinx.

This image has been massively produced... and even on the infamous "magic coin".

This thing could be from anything from belt to fob to bracelet.

Definitely "Egyptian".

I think it is pretty damn obvious that it is Egyptian .. Pardon me for making a typo and typing Greek.
