Does feel like lead (heavy) or aluminum? Take it to a jeweler. Might be silver.

Definitely doesn't feel like lead. Too light, and definitely non-ferrous. I'll see if I can get a weight on it back home.

Looks like melted aluminum... probably a drink can of some sort... soda beer etc.

Yep campfire nugget

Yep a coors can for sure:laughing7:

Whatever it is, it's 7.758 oz. 7" x 4"

Many times ... cans and bottles are thrown into a camp fire...
Resulting in a "pool" of molten aluminum...
When cooled it resembles the item shown here.

In my guess... that's one beer short of a six pack... they dropped the other at the base of a tree during a restroom break...

Relieving the other 5. :P

I have a piece something like that. It turned out to be pewter.

I know for a fact it's pewter, not a fire nugget beer can. The jeweler (a friend of mine) sent it with his metals to the lab dude for testing with his regular shipment.

It took a while to come back, but it was pewter. Tin, lead and antimony. The lab dude said he thought it was hit by lightning.

My father thought so as well. Pewter was the first thing he said when he saw the split. I pulled this from the side of his lawn. Under this layer of lawn is crushed stone from an old driveway. This was sitting below what was the driveway by a couple inches. I have a pewter ☥ that split after taking a fall. After seeing that and comparing I'd say it is consistent with the way pewter breaks off.

Pewter could be a "colonial" campfire nugget. Guys sitting around a campfire 201 years ago discussing the end of the War of 1812, drinking ale from their pewter mugs and one guy decides to throw his mug into the fire so his wife doesn't find out he was drinking with the boys.

Or his teenage son accidentally dropped dads mug and cracked it and had to dispose of the evidence LOL

Seriously though I have been on sites that were loaded with items like this I ascertained that the house burned down

Everything mentioned sounds good. The process of elimination is a good method but we still don't know what it is. It's too light for gold, silver, or lead. The only definitive way to find out is to have a jeweler send it out.

looks like Melted Lead or Aluminum from an Ant Nest.
or other porous ground
I haven't read all the Posts here yet though.

this one is lead .
probably just from porous ground
