Okay, I know what this is. It's a Feuchtwanger cent token, dated 1837. I did a little research on them, but as with many early mintages there are a number of die varieties.

Hoping someone can :
(1) positively attribute it and
(2) tell me if it's worth it to get it professionally attributed & graded.

I think the attribute is 3B, based on the criteria at the bottom of the site I researched. It also looks like the 7 was repunched.

If you use this site..
The Feuchtwanger Cent ? Attribution & Die Marriages | NovaNumismatics.com
you should be able to provide yourself with an accurate attribution.
Good luck on yours being a rate variety!
Don..
PS: I just noticed we're both using the same site for reference.

Lol... I saw that when I Googled "Feuchtwanger cent". They have criteria at the bottom for attributing but my eye deceives me. I was hoping for some contribution from Don in SJ or hogge.
