anyone interested in going

I used to go years ago when I lived up there. If you've never been to one of these, it is AWESOME! My first time I was standing about 30 yards to the left of an artillery battery. When the "battle" started - BA_BOOM_BOOM_BOOM. I had to cover my ears! The noise was incredible. After about 20 minutes the entire battle field was obscured by smoke. It was a very educational experience and really gave me some idea of what those soldiers endured. What a way to fight a war!

Have fun!

we were up there last saturday..it was my first time ever seeing gettysburg... we are gonna go again, but this time we will go into town, see the sites there.. see the rest of the battlefields we didnt get to see... we made the mistake of walking all over.. it took me 4 days afterwards to be able to move with just a bit of pain.. but I was truly honored to see these battlefields and walk upon them...I would love to be able to be there in the dark.. but that wont happen... its truly a sad, but amazing place to honor all those who fought, died and wounded there..

if anyones never seen it.. I sure recommend it.

Bootybay, I highly recommend glucosamin and chondroitin. I've been on it for six or seven years. Couldn't walk a quarter mile without foot pain. Now I can walk and weedwhip my property and I trim the house, garage, two barns and three paddocks, inside and outside the paddocks. (Not saying I don't rest, but it's from shortness of breath, not pain.)

Over the counter at Sam's or buy it online most anyplace. I take the 1500/1200 level (currently taking timed release) but I buy the cheapest I can and it works. I haven't had foot pain from walking for several years.

Best of luck! BTW, I had to take it for more than a month before I actually could tell the difference.

Probably should have put this in a PM but had started a reply. Maybe someone else will see it and take heed.

God Bless!

PS where did sparkymaster's 250 gift forum go?

I have been to Gettysburg many times. Learn about the battles in detail by reading the generals reports, they are very specific, then go early when there are few people there. It's amazing the feeling you get when you go and stand in the exact spot you read about and know exactly what took place there. With a little imagination you can see it. Awesome experience!
