Anyone in the Ocean City NJ area?

Anyone else around Ocean City, New Jersey? I'm a pretty experienced turf hunter, but I've never been to the beaches with my detector (which is shocking, I only live a stone's throw away from the beach!) and I'd like to be able to hunt with someone who knows beach hunting better than I do. I would be limited to the dry sand since I only have an Ace 250 and a BH Tracker IV. I've got some friends who show some interest in MDing, and they would probably tag along too, but it would be awesome to meet up with a fellow T-Netter for some hunting. So, anyone who would be interested in doing some dry sand hunting, just lemme know!

And just some background info on me...I'm almost 19 (turning 19 this July) and I'm pretty easy to get along with, albeit shy at first. Outside of MDing and treasure hunting in general, my interests are all over the place, so I can connect with just about everybody on some level.

I live in Margate and I hunt the beaches year round.....are you on Facebook?.....we have a Beach Metal detecting group on there....it is called The "Jersey shore Beach and surf hunters metal detecting" we have 33 members so far and the page is a wealth of resources about beach and surf detecting and we have a mess of great pictures of finds and beach conditions to look for when out there.....check it out....if you aren't a FB member then definitely think about joining (it is free).....I'm also enclosing the link to the page.....HH....Brian
