Mini is very low on floatation as skinner, shorter and good for shallow creeks. Needs the over/under for good fines retention but beats nuttn' .Just add a couple a 15 gallon barrels like a outrigger or just 1 under the box,or as previously stated 1 on each side for MUCH more stability. Submarineing is the #1 problem so a swivel nozzle is a good addition also to prevent going down!!-John

All that work it would be better to just get the standard 4inch I can drive right down to the river. It is all fine gold here and the full size has the over/under box. What are your views of the old tripple sluice setups.

Jeff

I can modify and make anything work. Many styles of triples-crash header-YUCK---semi flare GOOD----full flare header---BETTER. Extend the center box to match the sides, flaps in the side boxes, glue down black serated edged mat in the feed ins to the sides, counter sink all holes(break the top square edges off)in the punchplate, add a extra 15 gallon barrel under the sluicebox to flatten the dredge out some when running and good to go-tons a au 2 u 2-John :laughing7:
