Yes though it was poorly hidden. There were no markers per se though obvious visual clues were present. It was worth about 2k, not major but still nothing to sniff at, a decent find in an unlikely place. What was it? Not gold, no. Not silver either. No metals nor ancient artifacts, no legend surrounding it and no secret clues. It was weed, high grade weed, about $2000+ worth to be found scattered on the ground across a large waste area, very smokable, very good and pretty smooth. We returned to the site 2 weeks later and found about another $1500 worth of the stuff. We plan to return again this next harvest season to see if more isn't there, lurking in damn plain sight.
I find lots of little trinkets and cool stuff but that was the biggest treasure to date money wise. It's a Cheech and Chong lost treasure story and yes, it was definitely lost. Thar be gold in that vacant lot over yonder, green gold!
