Anybody want to hunt this weekend?

You wanna stop by that other place I told you about at the barbeque?? I was gonna stop by there Saturday, let me know if you wanna accompany me. Like I said, this place disappeared around the time the camp began...should be lots of potential for older silver and other coins if it hasn't been pillaged. Definately Barber era, maybe a seated or two and def Indians and V's...I'll dig it all.

Sounds good to me. :icon_pirat:

Heading out in a few minutes. Gonna stay local fellas. Got some more mining to do around here. You're gonna want to get chill-proof and probably water-tight for the next couple days though.

I just got a call form my landlord, He has to do some work in my apartment on friday 9:30am, so I am going to stay home while he is working. I will try to get out and hunt though.

On my way home from work today, I passed by the area I mentioned is a very old site. I have never walked there, but have driven past it numerous times. Today as I passed by I noticed that a substantial area of the site is flooded. Not deep, but enough to make me re-think the prospect, I'll put it on the shelf and give it a week or two, hopefully it should dry by then.

TreasureFiend (and others)...what do you think? Camp? Any other ideas? Let's plan this.

I'm in. Didn't get to the BBQ last Sunday, was working.
Just got an E-trac from Ron last Saturday night.
Got to see the box of goodies he brought to the BBQ last Sunday.
Last I checked Sunday is the dryer of the two days, but I'm up
for any of the two. Need to school myself more on this machine.
Not like the Whites M6. :icon_study:

Trash,

Goio is our local pro with the E-Trac, but there are others here who kill with it, also. TreasureFiend is beginning to master his SE. You've got lots of people here who are experienced with the Minelabs who can help you out with tips and pointers.

Yea, we can put this on the back burner for now. The camp is always dry, even after a rain storm (mostly on higher ground). The camp works for me!!! I wanna get more oldies!!! :icon_pirat:

Camp sounds good to me, depending on what happens with the weather.

Supposed to be rainy in the am on Saturday, sunday is clear, warmer but windy. i'll def be there on sunday, early.

Joe

Saturday looks to be clear after 6am. Sunday is clear all day, but with 30+ mph winds.
I was thinking of jumping right in Saturday. What time do you guys meet up? Also for
directions, the entrance is the first left east of River rd. on Devon?

I can't make it tomorrow, got too many things going on, but definately Sunday. Who plans on being out Sunday??

Joe

In that case, hope to meet you Sunday. Looking forward to getting out there, work and school have been heavy lately. I need a break!
