Real diamond or just some BS? Found 1" down under rocks in a driveway.
Those are beautiful, there are some ways at home you can test them to see. There's the black light test. & There's also other tests. But I have found that diamond buyers international if you look them up online & They will send you a free aprasel kit if you request one. I did my research on them & there a very respectable company. If you get a diamond jewelrys loupe or diamond tester. Those are other options. But it's very beautiful 😊

Hard to tell from your pictures

My husband says if you get a good quality tungsten carbide drill bit. & Scratch it, if it does scratch the diamond it's not real if it doesn't scratch it then it's real. I sent you ba pictures of the one you need is the middle one that looks like a mini spear lol

Just letting you know I went to the site you suggested and read about the tests you talked about and there's a few I could do myself so after I finally got it uncrimped from the setting it passed the first four tests so I have their appraisal kit on the way so thank you Tasha your a gem.

From the setting, my opinion is no.
It's real had to take it out the setting to find out passed the first four tests you can do at home so imm getting it appraised.

Is the setting marked as gold or no marks? Pictures are out of focus and poor so blowing up doesn't help, but unless it is white gold odds are not good it is real.

From the photo it the post setting looks marked up/patina the way silver looks.

From talking with my broker that bought my company (he was also a diamond jewelry store owner).
He stated that diamonds are set in sterling, most will be set in white gold or platinum instead.

Do this simple test to see if it is actually.

It is rare to see diamonds in silver mountings, especially quality diamonds, it does happen on occasion rings but it is fairly rare.

Even on gold rings mist diamonds lose their value quickly unless the are flawless solitaire diamond over 1 ct..... Diamonds have huge markups.

It's got two indentions maybe where letters were but being grinded in that rock hard drive right under the tire tracks it was worn down n I couldn't make out anything but the stone itself didn't have a scratch.
