building was a firehall. But after looking closer it
reminds me of some of the turn of the century

Hey off... Very pretty medal there, probably did have a bar above it for pinning it on,

2 yr reunion in Philly in 1907?
Whatever it is (school, business), it started in 1905, so I think we can concentrate on researching startups in Philadelphia in 1905. A new school, insurance company, a merchantile perhaps.

I think that the building is the actual one that existed at that time, and may still be standing. Check old postcards and history books about Phila.

1907 was the year the South Philly High School opened. Could be a second year reunion.
