That's what somebody suggested this was. The top "post" is indeed a perfect fit inside a battery cable . . . ? It's 100% lead.

It looks like a lead-acid automotive battery post.

I didn't watch it myself, just skimmed it for you.
With any luck, it will tell you which polarity it came from, positive or negative.
If I recall correctly, one of them (negative, I think?) is a slightly smaller diameter - so you can't easily mix them up.

Yep i would say so.The grooves would hold it in the case .
