Wow, that's hard to say. Can you see any writing that we might not be able to? What area was it found in? How old were items found in the vicinity?

I couldn’t see any writing on it either. It was found in a yard of a house that was built in 1943 but I found a 1920 mercury dime in the yard before I found this.

What is the diameter, thickness & weight? If you hold it at a shallow angle some writing may appear.

Ok I will have to check all of that and get back with you. It is pretty thin though

Really though, my first impression is that its scrap from someone punching a hole out of a sheet of copper.
