I detect alot of river campsites and swimming holes and this year especially i've been turning up a lot of Hotwheel type toys. Seems the kids just walk off and leave them. Not complaining though, I eBay also and theres a real market with big bucks for some rare ones. I'll picture a coupl;e of my favorites. The Jeep looks like maybe there were boys in the family and the maybe Russian one.(is Nahabit here) appears to have been lost in the sand the day before as it is like new.

i like 2 dig sand pits, always find cars diecast models(personal fav 8 cars in 1 hole, kid probably cried all nite)

im with bomber i found a convoy once tank jeep and a tanker truck and 2 1/2 ton cargo truck in a volley ball pit if i was that kid i would has been so upset.like the time i left my sand scoop at a volley ball pit 60 miles from home then pulled in the drivway to realize "oh crap"..but i give all my cars to the kids across the street they love when i come home. i usually drop them off in piles of 3-6 when i get enough for all of them to share theres 5 boys...im going to say in a year i found prolly about 30-40 and what ever toys i find they get also..

I found 13 in a sandbox at a playground last year. Gave them to my granddaugter and she still plays with them. Monty

yea I dig my share, why would you take such a small car or truck to the beach, never have figure that 1 out.I had a little girl watch me dig a traget 1 time, she was maybe 4 an when out poped a car her eyes got as big as 1/2 dollars an said wow a car, so I gave it to her, you would of thought I just gave her a million dollars

I have found lots-
Just the other day at the beach;I found a silver Mercedes convertible...I have got LOTS I have found-Some,even them real old cast-lead Bugatti-type racing cars...

I don't find many I guess because I mainly hunt very old sites. But I like them a lot!

As I recently posted I dug a nice 1953-55 Corvette when I decided to hit an in-town site.

All those old toys are great.

I haven't found that many either...maybe four or five....

Nice cars Silver!

I have...got me a nice Monster Truck buried deep in the sand at the oceanfront. My boys wanted it...sorry..it's MINE!!!!

Found 4 of the boys matchbox cars buried in our yard and one that was not there's and hubby found himself a stingray at a site where a home once stood. Too bad none of these are street drivable!! :( :) I would look hot in that Stingray :)

Thanks Nahabit. There are alot of Russain people who have immigrated to Spokane, Washington, which is near where I live. Guess one of their children has one less toy cars now. The toy is alot more sturdy built than the toys from China or Japan. I enjoy your pictures, keep them coming.

Hi,

I got three of them just today. Two were in bad enough shape that they went into the dumpster, but one was nice enough to keep with several others for the next time I see my grandkids.
