Chadeaux, You have the newer version, but they work the same. The one at my home has a timer and I set it to make a pot at 7AM. The one on my MH doesn't have a timer. It doesn't have power all the time so a clock timer wouldn't work. My coffee cup holds 2 cups measured so I can fill it 4 times. I love the French roast with Italian sweet cream. I have been drinking coffee since about age 10. My first cup was from a Club Aluminum dripulator. Frank

Spirit relic, That French Press makes good coffee, but is a mess to clean. Frank

Yeah,it's a little messy. But there simply cannot be a better way to make a cup.Do the research.9 out of ten conasewers say the best is by a French press.Go for the door, what the heck, move out!. :-X

Frankn I like your coffee maker. It would be easy to make a brew and save it in the "whats it" like a thermos. That would be almost as good as pouring the pot of coffee into a camo thermos. Anyway it is lots cheaper than buying the K-cups. I've got two EZ-Pods with filters that you can use what ever brand of ground coffee you want.EZ POD.jpg

I have been using a Keurig coffee maker now for almost a year. Dang coffee maker costs near $169.95 or there abouts. I hated the tase of bitter swil from my Mr. Coffee maker in the pot for a second or third cup so this Keurig makes a single great cup of joe everytime in under a minute. Of course the K-cups cost lots more than regular ground coffee, but you can use EZ-pods and use any regular ground coffee you want at a very cheap price.:coffee2:

Stupid thing broke finally so I called customer service and they are sending me a brand new machine even though mine was out of warranty. I expected to have to pay something, but not even shipping. Makes me realize why I gave up making instant coffee.:laughing7:

I did the same thing with another expensive machine (Broke, and replaced for free. Had a swimming pool( rubber) 3 ft deep called about a leak and they not omly sent me one but 3 with the filters I called and they said keep them it costs more to ship back then it was worth it. Sears on a large tool box also sent 2 same answer it was only dented? guess it pays to buy at a reputable co.???
