This was an eyeball find in the middle of the woods. It's on the same farm as a 1930's homestead I MD on. I guess my main question is, is it old? Or just something some hunter chunked within the last several decades. Put a little shop brush in for size reference...markings on the bottom are as clear as I could get them. Could be a yoohoo bottle for all I know lol.

It’s got the screw top, that molded ring, the standard date-mold-factory set up unfortunately I forget which number is which, but I suspect it is from 1978 there’s a bottle forum with guys that know more than me

In the 1970's we used to get a chocolate drink at the local gas station that came in a bottle shaped like that. I forget the name.
Yoohoo drink.

I was thinking some type of milk bottle and as Flinthunter said the Yoohoo chocolate drink did come in a bottle with that shape. If that was the one he was thinking of.

Back before you pups 😉were chugging Yoohoo there was the original Choc-Ola drink. That being said, I don’t remember either ever being sold in a bottle like yours. But…. I could be wrong.
if you had to guess, how many ounces?

My guess is that is a 7 OZ. Miller High Life "Pony" bottle. I drank a lot of those in my teens. (mid-to late '70's)View attachment 2012206
That looks to be a close possible match. Although in your picture I see raised letters on the side of a bottle and the OP only shows numbers and letters on the bottom of his bottle?

I am not sure there are raised letters on the photo I posted but It looks like there may be. I posted the pic for size and shape, not age. I have no idea whether a 1978 pony bottle would have raised lettering on the side.
