Any Info on this Watch Fob

I found this watch fob at a secluded site where I have found Colonial to WW1 type relics. the style of the front looks Colonial but never seen a fob like this from that time era. Hoping someone could give me some info on how old and maybe who the image is on the front? Thanks Nova
