Berea is located about 30 or so miles south of Lexington KY. Berea College is located there and is known for helping out the folks of Appalachia.

From their website, "Berea charges no tuition and admits only academically promising students, primarily from Appalachia, who have limited economic resources. Berea’s cost of educating a student exceeds $23,000 per year."

wildrider,Thank's for info.after reading(havn't checked link yet)i remeber that that pottery was made by students to teach a trade&sell pottery for income(for the school?children themself's?),Thank's again!
