Any ideas what this is?

I dug this out of a river bed in IL today: there are two boats in the scene. It seems to be plated with copper on the back.

They're not real clear, but the boats look Asian or Polynesian. Can we get a size, and pic of the back?

the back is flat with no markings at all. Size - it measures 1.75 inches

Pretty sure the motifs are all Chinese, but it has a sort of 1940's look to it, too.

Is it too heavy for a broach?

it is heavy for its size and the back is smooth. There are no idicators that anything attached to the back or any remnents of a loop that would attach to a chain.

It's heavy for it's size, flat back........hmmmmm.
From the picture it appears domed. Might be a
brass incense holder. Is the small circle about
that size?
