✅ SOLVED Any ideas on this?

Anyone got any thoughts on this? It’s made of brass I assume. From what’s left of the inner part of this there are two prongs and one has what looks like a spring mechanism around it. Any ideas? Thanks for looking.

I was going to post some kind of latching system for a door or Drawer RTR is close also i believe
