i got $1 a pound for non magnetic ss. the kind that is on the bottem of doors.

2 weeks ago I got 304SS @ $1.00 per pound & $1.50 per pound for 316SS.

Call your scrap yard for prices before you go. These numbers are better than on 03/31/07 when I got $1.25 per pound for 316SS

Thnaks for the run down and info on prices guys! I will call the scrap yard this week. Reason I asked was I found a bathroom fixture that is like 5 feet long made on stainless steel and I was debating on scraping...I think I will this week. Thanks again!
