We need more to go on then just... Any ideas or input on my find".

Pictures are always helpful, I won't open unidentified attachments due to virus concerns.
Please give us the dimensions, where did you find it, how did you find it and what material do you think it's made of.

You already posted this. Probably hematite, a naturally occurring ore of iron.
