This plate measures 4 3/4 long 1 7/8 wide and is 1/8 thick. I am trying to figure out what it went on. I know he made piano stools, vises, oil lamps. I've researched these with no luck. I am now wondering if he made large machinery that this plate attached too. "Any Ideas"

The back is blank.

OK" SINCE THERE WAS A WIDE VARIETY OF PATENTS BY CHAS PARKER CO I FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO PINPOINT THE EXACT ITEM THIS WENT TO. HOWEVER I THINK MAYBE A STEAM ENGINE OR SO.

THANKS FOLKS.

"the company manufactured a wide array of products, including printing presses, steam engines, train wheels and piano stools."

"cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces and sewing birds"

He revised his first post (not knowing what it went on due to the vast number of large items they manufactured) ...

So this is unsolved, correct?

ADDED: OK I understand. He believes its from a steam engine. The coffee mill post confused me.
