Any idea how old or not old?

I found a watch face at about 6 inches deep near a Silo. It is obviously copper and it has a date indicator windoe located at the 12:00 o'clock position. There are no markings on the back. I cannot find information on a date when watches started having a date indicator like this. Any help? Thanks
