Little bit larger than a softball. Sorry don't have weight. Is extremely dense. It is magnetic. Found in desert

I know there some minerals that are weak magnetic but i don't remember any being real dense but ferroplatinum ...antimony density is 6.7 and hardness 3 i looked up the minerals of antimony there at least 15 but it dosn't look like any of them to me ....A density test will answer the question ....there at least a dozen magnetic minerals ...the size you describe and weight its very dense..... platinum nuggets are about 1/4" in size the largest ones but if i remember ferroplatinum density is 14 i have no idea what it looks like i guess its a ore and Galena i seen but i don't remember it being magnetic and it mined for its silver content and your in the silver state ...I would try to figure out how magnetic that rock is that would narrow it down more ...Those 5 elements are strong and the minerals are weak to very weak ...soon some other member will tell you what it is am no miner ...good luck with that great find i hope its natural $$$

I looked up Galena and its listed as nonmagnetic even with cobalt and silver its still nonmagnetic .....What i see is most of these elements oxidize and yours if you didn't clean it shows no signs ...IF i found that rock i be testing the minute i got home ....Good luck

After looking at web site you listed of photos i noticed one photo of Antimony which is similar so i did more research and its Diamagnetic which means it is repelled by a magnetic field is this the case with that rock ??
