Not a clue, however that fork looks to be not very old at all. Where did you find these items at? That may possibly give me a idea on how old it is. And what is that exactly in your last picture?

I found them an an old school and a plowed field below. I was guessing the last picture was a token? Not sure at but it looks like it has a face on it.

Quiet snap switch must have been what I thought was a butto n. and what do you think the faceplate went to?

The bell looks like a Crotal bell. I don't know where you are in the world but I've found quite a few in England. People in the 15th and 16th Century used to sow them into their clothes as fashion accessories, a sort of medieval bling. You sometimes see them in old Robin Hood type movies where there are Jesters. They were also added to horses leatherwork as decoration.

I
Know the bell is a bell. Then there is the round item. Then the oval one I thought was a button. Seems to be ornate and is maybe a half Inch tall. I'm in Vermont, USA.

The last picture is deff. A large cent looks to be 1829 or 1839 or 1819 can't tell from the picture but that's what it is

Wow that's an old cent piece.
I think the what you are thinking is a switch is a bell. Next to the fork? Is that what you are referring to?

Fadetoblack,

Welcome to the forum!!

When posting items in the "What Is it" section it helps greatly to give as much info on the items as possible to avoid confusion for those trying to help with the IDing of the items, it will also get a much better and faster ID if at all possible.

The bell it seem is a Crotal bell used on harnesses of horses.
The fork, without any mentioning of any markings is hard to say who made it, when it was made, or if it has any value, etc. T
The possible "buckle" with no measurements, possible metal composition given could be anything, you later after cw0909 gave a possible ID of it being a electrical switch trim plate (which it does sorta resemble) you gave a measurement of "maybe a half Inch tall", while this does sorta help it still doesn't tell us the other measurement for this item since it is an oval there should be two measurements for this item, I tend to agree with Bigfoot1, that it could be a a furniture piece such as an escutcheon for a furniture pull, but it could also be a part of a buckle as well or a number of other possible IDs.
The round disk, with the ID by Recondigger as being a large cent could be further confirmed by others with a measurement and weight of the object.

Here's a link to the "
Please Read Before Posting Items in "What Is It?" that is on and at the top of the "What is it" section of the forums that will help you in getting a possible, better and faster identification of items posted in this section.

Again welcome to the forum and may you find tons of treasure!!

im sorry its my bad, i should not have given a possible ID, to the object in img below
without known measurements, with that said,i think bigfoot1 is prob right a drawer pull
because of the 1/2 inch tall measurement you have given

when you say 1/2 inch tall do you mean a 1/2 inch long?

what i thought was a faceplate to an electric light switch AKA, Quiet snap switch,or just quite switch
