I have always preferred it to be a few degrees too cold over a few degrees too hot. You can always add extra layers of clothing. But you can only remove so much clothing.

Metal detecting season starts for me
right after this hurricane hits. I will be heading to the beach. Looking forward to the cooler temp, oh maybe by November it should cool off a little here in Texas. The heat is just making me too tired. I can barely lift my legs just to walk in this heat

Well, sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee this morning, it was 46 degrees.
By evening, it had warmed to 78 degrees and the skeeters are still around. I'll take this over the Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana heat and humidity any day.
