Antique gold pocket watch!.......

Found on the edge of the shore line where we have been water hunting and finding old stuff.
Here are the before and after pics. Of course the insides are shot and the glass and hands are gone, but the back is solid gold! I thought it was plated till I cleaned it up. It had been there a long time.

I have not tried yet. The guts are shot as it must have been on the shore line wet for man years.
I have had an offer from a friend to restore with new guts. I may try to open it this weekend. I will post a follow up.
