Ansonia watches were made by The Ansonia Clock Co. Although some carry an 1888 patent date, the watches were built from 1904 to 1930. Tony

The pegs are probably for "Pin Set/Pin Wind". Tony

"dollar pocket watch" as they were non-jeweled cheaper model watch's. :wink:

I might agree Tony, but with the pins at the 3-9 position wouldn't it be rather cumbersome
to manipulate? Usually the pins are very near the stem on a stem wind pin set.

Still an interesting watch. :icon_thumleft:
