Just thought you all might like to know... I just heard that long time 1715 Fleet Treasure hunter Roy Volker passed away yesterday. Godspeed Roy!!

Roy was a friend of mine, someone I admired greatly, and he will be missed. We corresponded back and forth over the last 15 years and I had the great opportunity to shoot a documentary with him and the HRD crew about 7 years ago.

I proudly considered Roy and friend and fellow diver. I met him for the first time in 1992 when I started out with Moe on the Virgalona. The stories he told, and a few that i was able to be part of, will always be a part of me and the treasure hunter that I am.
