That was just waiting to wrap around some ones big toe bone.......:laughing7:
Great job:thumbsup:.

That's nice, but you need to find the other one for a matched set of ear rings.
Or if you found the leader you could wear it around your neck, as a necklace.
Either way if you know someone who is handy, the quarter can centered within
the curved portion for effect.

If all else fails, put it on Ebay
Be sure to advertise it as " Found Just in Time for Valentines Day"
Ideal present for the X, who has not remarried"
Or just sell as is, You never know what some body piercer will do! :laughing7:

WOW - That's the smallest quarter I have ever seen!!!! -

Yea it would be real sad for someone to ruin their day at the beach. On the other hand more free tackle.

Tackle is not cheap. I practice efficient fishing. Try not to lose to much.

Earth Day 1970 “POGO: WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY AND HE IS US, Walt Kelly”

Gator Boy’s reply about it being funny and sad at the same time is unfortunately true.
What started out as, I assume, a light spoof on heroes has a dark very dark side.
I considered changing my earlier barbs, if you get the point, which were meant to be humorous.
However, I quickly changed my mind and gave the originator a like as well as those who replied
a like as they caused me to do some serious thinking.

You might say that the picture of that big sucker hooked my past and reeled
it in into the present (here and now). Even though, I vividly remember spending hundreds to thousands of enjoyable hours fishing, I do not recall even spending one second considering how my lost tackle could hurt others or the environment - I simply was not aware!

I only became aware of the dangers as a result of metal detecting.
It would be a simple matter to raise alarm and blame those who fish (since I no longer actively fish)
but this would be wrong. It is simply a matter of being responsible and sponge’s comments about efficient fishing and tackle not being cheap makes better sense.

Thinking deeper, I realized that this is true for most everything we do. It is a matter of being responsible for what we do, even if it just sunbathing. What is true of lost fishing tackle is even more true of the more numerous aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic containers, rusty nails, etc which are needlessly destroying our beaches and environment. It is beyond tragic, that the heritage of our children is being sacrificed for a few seconds of convenience.

Someone already found the chain for it, they are using it as a railing.
