Today I headed back up to the new field site I had success in last weekend. I crossed my fingers the whole way that the landowners would be home....And to my delight they were....they agreed to let me hunt the old field as long as someone was on the property. Now, I have a telephone number... :tongue3: Boy was it cold with the icy wind whippin around in that old field today. The coppers just didn't want to show there faces this afternoon, but I did manage to pull this nice lookin 1833 Capped Bust Dime. And let me tell ya, it warmed me right up. The buttons just kept comin, the :icon_king: T2 loves the little targets. A lso I wanted to note the buckle....it appears Colonial...any insight would be very helpful....it looks tack related, but i'm no expert. Grabbed a couple IH's and a Buffalo...a musket ball...And another chunk of the shoe buckle piece I found last weekend. All in all it was a great hunt ending bad...the wife called and tells me to come home...all three kids are hurling.... :sad1:

Thank you all for the kind replies. Does anyone know anything about this buckle?
