I really don't know what it is about the seated silver. I have dug a ton of Indian heads from the seated period. I have dug plenty of Barber silver. I have dug Draped Bust and Capped Bust silver and a ton of Spanish. I have dug probably ten 2 cent pieces. It's just one of those weird things that happen in this hobby :dontknow:

Funny, I'm in the same boat too! Seated eludes me for some reason. Many Spanish, lots of IHPs and LCs , many Barbers and even a capped bust... but no seated. :dontknow:

I think it was BuckleBoy who had in MANY years never dug a Barber Quarter, but after he found his first (a couple years ago) I think? a second and or 3rd soon followed.

You certainly dug Many Nice old Coins .

Watch you will dig one in ....say ..the next month. 'Hopefully'.

All it takes is one good site. Im now at 22 seated from my 19th century fairgrounds. Ive found a total of six from five other sites and four of those were half dimes. I cannot find any late 1700s Spanish though. :dontknow: Its just the way the hobby is I guess

Seated is still on my bucket list. Still stuck on 1900 barber dime.

Congratulations on the seated dime! :occasion14:
