You're killing it AND ME!

Congrats on more seated! Save some of them for the rest of us!

You have dug more seated silver in your last two outings than I have dug in 35 years! All the seated I have to my name is one measly 1890 dime :dontknow: ??? :icon_scratch:

Congrats on the seated! gotta love the seateds!

WOW !
1 Seated Coin? & in your area & with all the older Coins you have found.

Well I only got 1 in 15+ years (A nice one tho 1839 XF "IMO") I have bought many Seated Coins Since.
Got 3 Capped Bust 1 Dime & 2 Half Dimes , The dime has been 'X' ed on both sides , one Half Dime is holed with a square nail, & the Other 1830 is XF IMO., Only 3 Barber Coins all Dimes (1 being Smooth), Never a LC or Copper (except the LC that was made into a Button), but on that one it's been so smoothed out you can "Barley" see the Head & Only at the Right Angle and light. 1 'V' Nic, & only 2 Buff's .
A couple Dozen IH's Tho.

It's been 4 years since my Seated Dime Find & I still recall the "RUSH" seeing what it was.

At this time my "Gig in the Sky" --"GIS" coins are not Gold tho Ill take all the Lord allows but A Seated Quarter , Capped Quarter , Or even a Barber Quarter.....Dream , dream dream .

So trapperart you are 'killing me as well' So next time you dig a Seated , Barber, CB or Silver Trime , Gold Think of Me.
Also great to see a full Liberty on that Dime.

You Dog ..LOL

Nice Finds!! You got Sat down! Gotta love them seated silvers. I'm sure there are plenty more good finds to come out of there. Those buttons are a good indication.

Davers and Steve in PA - that's one more seated than me. I absolutely lust after them. I had the opportunity to buy a roll of seated dimes but declined because I WILL dig one, and then fifty, some day.

I mean, it doesn't have to be a dime. I *guess* I'd "settle for a 20 cent piece or a trade dollar.

Well being in MA is a good start.
All my CB & Seated Coins all came from the same general area. FWIW

As for 20 cent pieces or Trade Dollars ...They really are not on my Radar , I feel like i'd find the ' Holy Grail' before digging a coin of that type. BUT! You never Know .

I truly believe you will find a Seated Coin or More someday.
P.M. Me when you do , ill Vote Banner.

I cherish all the CB,Seated, coins that I have dug (no matter the Condition ) more than the ones I have Paid For.

I really never had an interest in 'Type Coins ' until I dug one.
I even like to buy 'Holed ' coins ( when the price is right).

Heck it's Jackpot day when I dig a Merc, or Silver Rosie. lol

I'm mostly a Civil War Relic Hunter , that explains a little for my lack of Coin finds. But Still after Weeks of Swingtime over the years , id think I would have swung over more old Coins .

The South was Broke & they held tight to what they had.

I avg, a Dime , or a Cent or 2 everytime I go to the Store , folk don't want to bend over for a Cent or 2.
Some/Many Americans are very wasteful.
Davers

Man, U good !!.....I hope to at least have a shot at anything near that find. Congrats. !!!

Hello trapperart. All I can say is "NICE". I have been able to manage one seated in 20-YRs of diggin' holes. Thanks for the post. C9

I really don't know what it is about the seated silver. I have dug a ton of Indian heads from the seated period. I have dug plenty of Barber silver. I have dug Draped Bust and Capped Bust silver and a ton of Spanish. I have dug probably ten 2 cent pieces. It's just one of those weird things that happen in this hobby :dontknow:
